Spy Net: Secret Mission Video Watch A fun multi-featured product

As a "spy watches" go, making this a lot. All its functions are funny, others are practical, and some are gimmicks.

An interesting feature is the polygraph. The use of stress in your voice to determine if a person is telling the truth. After calibration with a true story of a user checks the subsequent statements and determines the probability they are correct. Unlike a Magic 8-Ball, this function can be surprisingly accurate. But it can also be far away. Although it may tend to be surprised if she is wrong with some users, and is generally much more accurate than a coincidence, my son was a little disappointed when he first saw it as a lie detector "real." You must approach this as an element of novelty and fun with her.

The video and audio are what one might expect something in this price range. They are the "toys" quality, but not what you would get from either a low-end video equipment and consumer audio. However, the victories of the video quality on the video feature added that many cameras at twice the price. Rates good quality compared to competitors "spyware" products Eyeclops. It is much better than the toys cheaper in the wild world, claiming to be the best spy ever watch. Maybe this deserves the title instead.

The voice changer can be fun. It is an advanced tool, but works well enough that he can make a child looks like an old man, a boy looks like a young girl or an adult like a child. It is ironic that users want to try it again and again.

USB charging works fine, but children must remember not to let the power drain and then leave it blank. After doing this for a long time (perhaps a week or two) I plugged into a USB port. Instead of starting in a few seconds to a minute, it took a few minutes. After the initial panic of seeing a blank screen for longer than expected, I was happy to see him come through. When it came, the time needed to be reset, but it does not lose data stored video.

The number of functions requires a variety of buttons, but it is well thought out. There should be no problem for a pre-teen who is accustomed to playing video games, and will not leave a child who asks you to read the instructions to understand.

The educational value is partly the product itself, but can come much more than learning about technology from a parent who functions are used.

There are a variety of "Spy Gear" products on the market these days, and it did not disappoint. I have not tried other products of the company, but would be comfortable to do so after using it.

A pleasant thing to watch is that it's more fun when others are there to share their experiences. It also includes the parents, and have the opportunity to spend time with your child may be the best in entertainment for all, especially when it is their call. The recommended age is 8 to 15 years. I think it is realistic to expect an eight year old child to have fun with it, but holding the hand over. A pre-teens should be able to start and the interest will probably decline for those aged 15 years or more. It is important to know your child's needs and interests, especially at the extremes of age, and it could harm a child under eight.

A warning, not the fault of the product itself is that these kinds of toys will start to be much more fun than many, but not necessarily something that will become a thing play all day. It is a bit bulky to wear on your wrist regularly, and young children, especially boys, are not routinely wear watches. But if your child feels like wearing this while not actively playing with it, and have a peer network with friends who ask about it, your child may become jealous of others.

LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0 A Solid Improvement on the Best MINDSTORMS Set

I first met MINDSTORMS series in 2001 when I bought the Robotics Invention System 1.5 by curiosity. Since I bought and used several sets MINDSTORMS, written two books MINDSTORMS, developed and taught a course in Lego robotics, and given presentations Lego. So when I heard that Lego NXT 2.0 fall or summer / autumn 2009, I was curious about how LEGO would improve its flagship product. After finally get their hands on a 2.0 setup, I have been busy constructing, programming and analysis of the characteristics of the kits. And I think that's the best MINDSTORMS far.

The NXT original was published in 2006 (I call it "Set 1.0") were huge successes, but still had some shortcomings. NXT 2.0 addresses some of these gaps and really all it is 1.0 which should have been. As robotic kits, the NXT 2.0, which focuses on building and programming, so I'll take a look at how the kit works in all these areas.

The first is to build a fun and exciting, while providing excellent additions. For electronics, servo motors and NXT microcomputer are the same as in the design and quantity, but the selection of sensors changed. There are now two touch sensors, an ultrasonic (distance) of the sensor and color sensor. The new color sensor has three functions. It can detect colors (six basic colors), measuring the light intensity and serve as a lamp (light emitting red, blue or green). Unlike version 1.0, which is light sensor or sound sensor: the new color sensor can act as a light sensor, and LEGO apparently thought to have two touch sensors would be more useful than having a sensor pressure and a sound sensor that in one, 0 sets. I agree.

The construction elements are, again, without nails bit techinc Lego instead of traditional bricks. The 1.0, which included TECHNIC bricks, but they went across 2.0, which focuses entirely on the design double-free. Overall, there is always a good selection of bars, rods, and axes (including a new # 9 longitudinal axis) and the addition of two rubber bands. Also fun is the archery equipment with special ball 12 small colored balls.

There are only few tools are included, however. Although the 1.0, which included a good variety and quantity of gear, including 2.0 that only a handful of double bevel gear and bevel gear 12t one. It's a bit disappointing, but understandable. People like to spend a ton of gear in his robots to make them cool, but a lot of tools to introduce a lot of friction. The reason for the 2.0 kit sample demonstrates how to connect the robot parts directly to the engine instead of using gears to transmit motion. It works well and takes some getting used to, but I would still encourage new users to enlarge his LEGO collection of bills for the purchase of 2.0 sets.

When it comes to programming, with version 2.0 of the accompanying software NXT-G some welcome new features. A remote control, audio editor, image editor, this new block of programming, better performance and more features programming more enjoyable. The performance is much better than in version 1.0, but perhaps still sluggish.

The software contains a number of fun challenges over four missile configurations: Shooterbot, Robogator, color sorter, and the Alpha Rex. The missile test is durable and works well, although some instructions for using the color varieties have been a little confused. The new version of Alpha-Rex robot is a really fascinating: in addition to being a fun "advanced" model to build new users can learn much from its surprisingly compact and elegant design.
MINDSTORMS NTX 2.0 set leads the series in the right direction. I like what I see in this series, and I think that Lego has a winner on their hands. The 2.0 is more expensive than the 1.0 set - with $ 30 - but I think the improvements and new features to justify the additional cost. In summary, the NXT 2.0 brings a great set of tools for each robot builders and a must for fans MINDSTORMS.

Harry Potter Howarts Lego game should win awards! Amazing!

The game of Hogwarts Harry Potter is an incredible value at just under $ 30. First, they can build the game board, which is equivalent to a normal game of Lego. While you play! The game is pretty nice introduction to simple and complex for children and adults to enjoy. My favorite part is listening to the rain of ideas that occurs when players (yes, adults and children) realize that you can adapt the game into an infinite number of ways. The best toy I've seen to stimulate the imagination, cooperation and creativity.

My eight years, even playing with the board game itself the creation and playback of different scenarios of Harry Potter. I am very grateful that the game comes in a box that is the right size. . . small enough to store in the closet game and big enough to store the game without having to remove it. I also appreciate the rubber edges on the dice. (No need to throw the dice in the box to prevent damage to the furniture!) The game of Harry Potter Hogwarts / toy prices and probably deserves to be one of the most sold during the Christmas season this year!

Note: We also have Creationary. I also recommend. However, if you have to choose between Creationary and one of the themes of the Lego games, I recommend trying the games theme. (Pirates, Monster, Pyramid, Race 3000, etc.) Although we have only tried to Hogwarts Harry Potter yet. We can not wait to treat others!

Junior stomp rocket vs Ultra stomp rocket

First a description of the Junior Stomp Rocket. The kit comes with a "step" rectangular plastic connected to a hose. The end of the tube is connected to one of the foam rockets (4 includedir are in the kit). It is a plastic that can be combined for use as a launching base. Attach the plastic tube at the base and stepped on the platform. The air is drawn into the tube and propels the rocket foam in the air. The Junior Stomp Rocket has announced that the rocket will rise to 100 feet. List of products of age 3-8 years.

The only real difference found with the Ultra Stomp Rocket is that the foam rockets are a little bigger. Apart from that, the team is exactly the same. The Ultra Stomp Rocket has announced that the rocket as high as 200 feet (perhaps because they are larger and slightly different). Lists the age group of 8-12 years.

Both products list for a comparable price. rocket parts for the championships and Ultra models come in different colors and sell (at least on Amazon) for under $ 10.

Whether you buy the Junior Stomp Rocket (listed here) or sister Ultra Stomp Rocket products, which will win a great toy! This toy is so simple - no assembly required, no batteries, just easy to use and fun!

I bought the Junior Stomp Rocket for my 4 year for Christmas. He loved it! We had a snowstorm, so they were slow to take the game a few days but quickly change the toys from my son that he is stepping on the platform under one arm and point and missile firing rockets near the home. Because the rockets are made of foam, which causes no damage to walls, furniture (or Mom and Dad, thankfully). Once we were able to achieve it, my son literally play with this toy for hours of setting the direction, and play with the effort you have to step on to get the rocket to go high. What a great toy!

I just bought the Ultra Stomp Rocket for a birthday party my son attended. The gift was a huge success too! There was no difference in skills between junior and Ultra models.

I would recommend either the Junior or Ultra Stomp Rockets. I see no reason why the Ultra version is rated such a higher age range. The only thing I found in favor of the junior version was the glow in the dark refill rockets. Junior Stomp Rocket Toy Glow in the Dark Refills. For some reason, the glow in the dark refills only come in the "junior" size.

ThinkFun Rush Hour Reviews

The concept is so simple it is ingenious. Drive your car in a straight line. But if you've been to New York during rush hour knows that is not always easy. I mean, of course, to paralysis, the nightmare of urban traffic, where cars can not move.
Well, at peak times, you get to spend all cars and trucks to clear the way for yourself. The game comes with a deck of cards (easily stored in the plastic bin) showing location of the car. It takes a minute, but some of the puzzles take some time to resolve. Ranging from very easy to very difficult. Binary Arts and sell additional card sets so the fun never ends! This game is sure to make many children in civil engineering. Regarding sustainability, you could probably throw this game out the window while driving on the road, and it can be. But it is not rush hour!

Still stuck in traffic? Think you know the best way? Then you're ready for the challenge of Binary Arts game Rush Hour. Be careful to avoid stagnation is not as easy as it seems.

The instructions are simple, the configuration of the board game with forty playing cards, prepared from the skill level of initiation to the expert. Move the cars and trucks from the road and your red car in the table.

The game is having to think, and strategic planning is the key to winning. I found myself playing for hours and I played I had fun. In addition, since the storage is easy this game travels well.

For rainy days, evenings of family or friends when they fall over, you can not go wrong with this game Binary Arts All we need now is a puzzle game involving aircraft.

Alex Toys Friends 4 Ever Bracelet Making Kit Reviews

We bought this for our daughter seven years for his birthday, in hopes of an interest in a new hobby that stimulates their creativity (and keep your hands busy). The manufacturer declares that this product of 8-12 years and am in general agreement (based on dexterity and attention span). However, some younger children, especially those who have the attention span and can be repeated a pattern with very reliable hands, being able to control this activity. Our daughter is 5 1 / 2 years was given the opportunity, but need help from time to time, when it leaves the structure.

We've noticed that girls do not have much problem with circular looms. However, they had difficulty bracelets Square trades consistently. Seems to be a matter of learning to maintain a uniform tension on the silk weaving and consistently. It is not difficult, but it just takes a little care and practice.

The "suitcase" containing four businesses foam (2 seats and 2 rear), 22 Skiens silk, 2 small containers of beads (clear and colored), the needle heels, and instructions.
* Every job has two models (one on each side) for a total of 8 models. The final design model is printed around the center hole of the trade, and the grooves are painted with colors to create the proposed model. It is easy to change colors to create your own color schemes. After several months, we noticed that the paint starts to rub the notches in the foam business (which occur over time). Back to paint with nail polish may help, but have not yet responded.
* The Skiens silk can learn fairly quickly (only 22). We found that the seam of a shop / prepare a package of 50 sells for about $ Skiens 10.
* We used needle bearings, so I can not comment there. The accounts, however, are the right size for silk and fingers of children (aged seed beeds smaller than grains of horse). My girls have not shown much interest in the formation of grains in their projects. Seem to be trapped in the rate of tissue and forget to use. I would caution that the containers do not guarantee covers the bottom - to escape. I suggest finding another container with a tight lid or tape the lids to prevent spilled grain.
* The instructions are pretty easy to follow. As has been mentioned by others, YouTube videos are useful, especially for those who learn best by watching others. A ruler to measure the floss is printed on the folding instructions, so all you need is a pair of scissors to cut the wire and a pen or pencil (to create the first loop).
* Materials are preserved, trades and supplies in the "bag" that has proven durable.

As our daughters have used the product, we have found for the round of trades and bracelets. I think it's because (1) the rate of tissue is continuous on circular knitting machines, (2) is easier to maintain constant tension on circular looms, (3) the constant stress produces a more uniform and finite product research, bracelets rings (4) are generally faster to complete (our experience has been 1 1 / 2 to 2 hours for the round of bracelets, three cons of the plan bracelets), and (5) to the girls drawings of hearts and flowers produced by circular knitting.

Our girls had a fun time creating bracelets for friends (boys and girls) and themselves. Planning seem to appreciate the colors and try to invent new models. I agree with critics who would have liked to see more models. We also used silk to create our own knots / bracelets braided / woven designs using elsewhere on the web.

Step2 WaterWheel Activity Play Table Reviews

We have owned this table fountains for months, nearly siz has the game and its value has not decreased at all. It is short enough that our 16 months have always been able to participate comfortably and interesting enough that it always attracts my 4 and 6 year olds as well.

The Water Wheel is great fun and kids love the water takes its turn in the Reserve. The two levels of the table to give children the space for individual games, if two children are playing. Now that winter is approaching, I look forward to adding sand instead of water to the table. I understand the cards are easy to open built in the basin, because it is easy to remove water (or sand). Toy, so robust, is also light enough for an adult to take and just add water, if desired. Children can not easily move or close table.

They made them with plugs in the past but people had problems with the plugs leaking (as you can see by looking at some of th older reviews with fewer stars) so they stopped making them with plugs. Ours doesn't have a plug and works fine. We just tip it over to let the water out. It isn't too heavy for an adult to tip over but it is too heavy for a child to tip. My son has loved his water table for a few years now and still plays with it he is almost five years old. It's the best water table I have seen around. I highly recommend it.
